Job description

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

Effective protection of company assets

Return company equipment in good working order

Check and receive consignment for the day on COS or TnT

Return all ATM equipment at the end of each day

Follow dress code in all aspects of personal presentation, as well as ensuring uniforms and body amour are properly maintained

Subscribe and align to SBV Services' ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards, ensuring the department’s processes and quality management system is at all times in compliance with the standard.

Support SBVs ESG journey, reporting on and managing the ESG requirements to ensure a positive reflection and outcome.

Efficient servicing of clients according to agreed standards and procedures

Plan activities for the day in order to meet SLA targets

Utilize ATM COS device to record all activities, including loading of money, removal of deposits and maintenance calls. If the COS device is not operational, reports to Line Manager immediately and obtain authorization to operate manually.

Ensure all ATMs are either accessed by means of Traccess or the No Key Solution.

ATM related faults that need technical attention, report to the bank and place a call. Obtain a reference number.

De-activate alarm when entering ATM cubicle and report faulty alarms immediately to Manager

Check ATM cubicle for any faulty equipment and report any problems

Make sure no faulty canisters are left in the ATM cubicles.

Verify and confirm if all bags are delivered using the COS or TnT device

Lock the ATM cubicle door from the inside and proceed with preparation to load the machine according to procedures. Only the custodian is allowed in the cubicle whilst replenishment is done

Request OTC code via cell phone or use the No Key Solution, and put machine on supervisory mode before opening safe door

Load correct cash in canisters according to procedures and ensure canisters are clearly marked per denomination.

Remove all deposits and retained cards from the ATM machine, records the total amount on COS

Adhere to all procedures in order to prevent any claims against SBV.

Record ATM loadings on Custodian loading sheet after each ATM is replenish in the event that COS does not work.

Report cash holdings that exceed the maximum authorized limit per Bank.

In an attempted heist, follow procedures to ensure the safety of team members first, and secondly, client and company assets

Maintain confidentiality

Balance ATM machines according to procedures – including GBRU’s.

Follow the correct Custodian hand-over procedures

Balance ATM every 14 days and sign Balancing Certificate within 2 working days

Perform end-of-day functions according to procedures:

Return retained cards, surplus cash and deposits

Check and return ATM keys (if applicable)

Hand-over paperwork (if applicable)

Verify all ATM components are in working order before machine is put on service

Once ATM machine is replenished and Custodian is ready to depart from the site, he/she must ensure that the area in and around the ATM is neat and tidy.

Provide wholesale and retail services to all SBV clients

Effective communication with bank, SBV and team

Encourage smooth running of the operation through effective communication between team members, and Bank

Communicate service needs timeously

Record any irregularities on fault list and Black book

Effective teamwork

Demonstrate respect and support for team members at all times

Work closely with one another, covering and protecting each other in the course of all duties

Effective self-management

Plan and prioritise effectively to ensure up-time and availability

Follow-through on all tasks and functions within own area of responsibility, following rules and procedures within defined timeframes

Ad hoc responsibilities

Perform protection duties as and when required

Be responsible for ATM site tasks from time to time

Render ATM First Line Maintenance duties when the need arise

Perform any transactional and or AD HOC duties as required and between SBV and clients which could include any service SBV offers

Drive the organisation culture

Drive the department’s values while inspiring confidence and generating excitement, enthusiasm and commitment towards the mission.

Lead as an Ambassador and executor of Change

Act as a change management architect in periods of change to ensure business continuity.

Manage the integration of business units into a seamless end to end solution for customers.

Effectively communicate and embed new processes and procedures as they occur, addressing or escalating matters/ concerns to the SME’s (subject matter experts) when required.

Facilitate the necessary presentations, workshops, or forums to ensure consistent and accurate communication is given across one’s portfolio.

Minimum Requirements: Work Experience

1 -3 years’ experience in CIT/ ATM environment Minimum Requirements: Educatio

Internal with Grade 12:

1 year experience in CIT/ATM

Internal with Grade 10/11:

3 years’ experience in CIT/ATM

External:

Grade 12 with pass in Maths or Maths Literacy with 1 year experience in CIT/ATM

Successful completion of CITPO and successful Firearm Competency application

Successful completion of ATM training, ATM assessments and deemed competent to perform the job

PSIRA C Behavioural Competencies Required

Verbal-, Non-verbal and Written Communication Skills: Ability to effectively interact with individual/ group, using appropriate verbal-, non-verbal- or written communication on the required level, and sending out/ receiving a clear message in the intended way
