A family is looking for an Au Pair for their children

Area: Steyn City

Children’s Ages: 4 and 5 years

Working hours: Monday to Friday 13:00 – 19:00, Ad Hoc Saturdays (any 4 hours which can be agreed upon and paid additionally as overtime)

School holiday hours: Same/similar hours

Duties: Collect the children from school and take them home, encourage educational play and age-appropriate learning, read with them, plan engaging outdoor activities, take them to the park, and keep them active and entertained. Prepare meals for the family, assist with ad hoc grocery shopping, and support the smooth running of the household. Act as the mother's right-hand person, helping to manage the children's routines, schedules, and daily activities. Travel with the family when required

Special Requirements: Experience with the age groups, communicates effectively, is confident taking initiative, and is available to travel with the family

Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent

Salary: R12 000 – R12 500 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 12 months driving experience.

****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

****Must have a clear criminal record

****Must have a passion for children

****Must have Matric

****Must have a South African ID document.
