Job description

Position: Auto Electrician

MBT Auto is looking for a skilled and experienced Auto electrician to diagnose, repair, Install, and maintain electrical and electronics system in a wide range of vehicles.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic faults.
Repair and replace wiring harness, sensors, switches, relays, and fuses
Diagnose and repair starter motors, alternators, batteries, and charging system
Install and repair vehicle accessories such as alarms, reverse camera, radios and parking sensors.
Repair and maintain electrical air conditioning electrical components where applicable
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Knowledge of modern vehicle electrical and electronics system Knowledge of trucks and fleet vehicles is advantageous
Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently
Proficiency in using diagnostic scanner and electrical testing equipment
ability to read wiring diagrams and reliable.

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric)
Trade Certificate in Auto Electrical or Equivalent qualification
Strictly 3-5 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician
Valid driver's license as an added advantage
