Job description
We are looking for a B-BBEE Advisor to join our Transformation Advisory team in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
We are a Transformation Advisory and Skills Development firm committed to helping clients implement B-BBEE strategies that deliver measurable, sustainable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support B-BBEE gap analyses and client assessments
- Assist with the development and implementation of B-BBEE improvement strategies
- Review, capture and maintain client B-BBEE data and supporting documentation
- Assist with preliminary B-BBEE score calculations and projections
- Prepare client reports, gap analysis and optimisation reports
- Validate documentation for accuracy, completeness and verification readiness
- Support the preparation and tracking of B-BBEE implementation plans
- Assist with SETA-registered learnerships, bursaries and other B-BBEE initiatives
- Liaise with clients and assist with B-BBEE-related queries
- Support verification preparation and liaise with verification agencies where required
- Assist with Employment Equity reporting and related compliance activities
- Support EE Committee meetings and training
- Conduct research on B-BBEE legislation, Codes of Good Practice and sector requirements
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure deadlines are met
- Provide general advisory, administrative and reporting support to the Transformation Advisory team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Business Management or a related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in B-BBEE, Transformation, Compliance, HR or a related advisory environment
- Working knowledge of the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice; exposure to Sector Codes will be advantageous
- Understanding of B-BBEE elements such as Skills Development, Employment Equity, Enterprise & Supplier Development and Socio-Economic Development
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Excellent attention to detail and document management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work accurately under pressure
