The Opportunity

You're inheriting a working sales machine at a bootstrapped company that grew to $5M ARR in two years, and you own the number from day one.

There's already a playbook here: scripts, follow-up cadences, a CRM with real stages, and a marketing engine that books strategy calls and runs reactivation campaigns. You're not building from scratch. You take the keys to a proven system, make it better, and close deals that range from a few thousand to $27,000+ per month in MRR.

The buyer is a residential tree service owner doing $350K to $5M per year. Your sales cycle is 7 to 21 days. No procurement committee, no six-month security review. You get a real human on the line, solve a real problem, and close.

• The upside is uncapped and the accelerator is retroactive. Hit 133% of quota and your commission rate jumps to 17% on the entire month's revenue, from the first dollar. No cap, and no clawbacks on commissions already paid. You report into the growth lead, and better ideas get implemented the same week.

The Role

You own the sales motion: converting marketing-sourced strategy calls, managing a tight pipeline, and building outbound for larger enterprise deals. The playbook exists and works. Your job is to run it, improve it, and close. Ideal for someone who:

• Has a repeatable closing process they can walk through from memory
• Wants commission-first comp with real retroactive accelerators, not a big safe base
• Sells comfortably to owner-operators who decide fast on gut
• Treats their pipeline like a business and knows where every deal stands
• Owns the follow-up after the first call so no deal dies in silence
• Is happy being measured, and looks for their own new ways to engage leads

Compensation: Base draw plus uncapped commission. OTE approximately $117,000 to $204,000+ USD/yearly, depending on performance.

Job Type: Full-Time (1099 for first 3 months, converts to W2)

Work Location: Fully Remote (US and South Africa)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, US business hours, with availability outside standard hours when deals are moving

The Skills

• Full-Cycle Closing. You've owned deals from first call through signed contract.
• Multi-Channel Follow-Up and Ownership. You run deliberate cadences across call, text, email and voicemail, and you own the next step on every deal so none goes quiet.
• Sales Process Management. You've found weaknesses in your own process and fixed them, and you know your close rate and what drives it.
• CRM and Pipeline Hygiene. Clean pipeline, accurate stages, and you can name your top five deals from memory.
• Objection Handling for Owner-Operators. You acknowledge a bad past experience and pivot without getting defensive.
• Remote Sales Discipline. You manage yourself, no shoulder taps.
• Comfort Being Measured. Reporting here is light: the numbers auto-populate from the CRM, you keep it clean and drop a short daily voice note. You welcome that rather than resent it.
• Proactive and Inventive. You take the tools you're given, video, iMessage, a pre-call video the day before a call, and find your own ways to lift show rate and conversion.
• High-Ticket Recurring Revenue. You've closed at $2K+ MRR.
• Sales Team Development (Bonus). Interest in eventually building a team beneath you as we scale.

• Proactive Pipeline Owner. Reactivates stale deals, owns every open one, and invents new ways to engage leads.
• Relentlessly Resourceful. Learns the product and buyer without hand-holding, uses AI and every resource.
• Never Satisfied with Quota. Quota is the floor. Wants to know what 133% takes.
• Radically Transparent. Flags a slipping deal or quarter early, brings solutions, welcomes being measured.
• Speed to Lead. A prospect texts at 7pm on a Friday ready to close, they pick up.
