B2B Business Development Representative – Education Partnerships

About the Role

Boston English Center is seeking an experienced, motivated B2B Business Development Representative based in South Africa. You will develop partnerships with schools, language centers, companies, training providers, and educational organizations.

Your primary goal will be to generate student enrollments through referral partnerships and close bulk-subscription and white-label agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and contact schools, companies, language centers, and educational organizations.
• Connect with owners, directors, HR managers, training managers, and other decision-makers.
• Generate leads through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and other channels.
• Build referral partnerships that generate new student enrollments.
• Negotiate and close bulk-subscription agreements.
• Introduce our white-label English-learning platform to schools and training centers.
• Schedule and conduct online product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals and follow up consistently with prospective partners.
• Maintain accurate lead, activity, and sales records in our CRM.
• Meet weekly activity targets and monthly revenue goals.
• Provide regular reports on opportunities, partnerships, and closed deals.

Requirements

• Based in South Africa.
• Native or native-level English communication skills.
• Proven experience in B2B business development, partnership development, or sales.
• Confident contacting new prospects and decision-makers.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Persistent, organized, and comfortable with regular follow-up.
• Able to work independently and achieve measurable targets.
• Experience selling educational services, SaaS, training programs, or subscriptions is strongly preferred.
• Existing relationships with schools, companies, or educational organizations are an advantage.
• French or Arabic is an additional advantage.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary
• Commission on paid student enrollments
• Higher commission on bulk-subscription agreements
