Back Office Agent and Academic Advisor
Lead Capital Group
Cape Town, Western Cape
Job description
Build a Global Future. Deliver Peace of Mind. Change Lives.
At Lead Capital Group (LCG), we do more than process files; we build pathways for people to achieve their lifelong academic and immigration dreams. We are looking for a highly motivated, career-driven, and meticulous professional to step into the dual role of Back Office Agent & Academic Advisor.
This isn't just an administrative desk job. You will be the crucial bridge between a client’s ambition and their reality. You will handle the critical, behind-the-scenes legal and academic documentation while directly advising students on Canadian educational opportunities to help them secure their Letters of Acceptance (LOA). If you are deeply organized, possess an unwavering backbone under pressure, and get a genuine sense of fulfillment from helping others succeed, this is the career-defining move you've been waiting for.
What You’ll Do Every Day
Back Office & Compliance Support
- Guard the Integrity: Assist the RCIC office by meticulously collecting, reviewing, and preparing highly sensitive client documentation for visa applications.
- Own the Deadlines: Ensure every single application is flawless, 100% complete, and submitted within strict, unforgiving timelines.
- Maintain Absolute Discretion: Handle sensitive legal, personal, and immigration documentation with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Keep the Engine Running: Proactively communicate with clients regarding outstanding documents, update CRM systems in real time, and provide critical administrative and research support.
High-Impact Academic Advising
- Map the Journey: Act as a trusted advisor, guiding students through Canadian educational opportunities, identifying programs that align perfectly with their long-term life and immigration goals.
- Drive the Outcome: Help students build standout academic portfolios and monitor applications right through to securing their Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
- Crush Your Targets: Build deep, ongoing client relationships and take ultimate accountability for hitting key monthly performance targets, including a minimum of four LOAs per month.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Mindset: Professional, mature, confident, and highly organized. You are someone who thrives under the pressure of a deadline-driven environment and loves working closely with people.
- The Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You have a strong ability to multitask, solve problems on the fly, and manage high volumes of sensitive information without missing a single detail.
- Tech Literacy: Advanced computer literacy with hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and CRM systems.
- The X-Factor (Advantageous): Previous experience or knowledge in immigration, legal, regulatory, or educational environments is highly advantageous. Fluency in Spanish and/or French will make your application stand out significantly.
This role carries immense accountability. The quality, integrity, and absolute accuracy of the applications you prepare directly impact our clients' futures with the Canadian government. We need an independent self-starter who respects the weight of this responsibility and delivers pristine work every single time.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- True Impact: Every successful application you handle changes a client's life destiny.
- Global Growth: Be part of a fast-expanding, professional international company that prefers promoting from within.
- Elite Culture: Work alongside a passionate, high-energy, and supportive team right here in Cape Town.
