Bagel Builder / Cold Section – Fast-Paced Environment
We are looking for an energetic, reliable and customer-focused Bagel Builder / Cold Section team member to join our busy team.
The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing food to a high standard, works well under pressure and understands the importance of speed, consistency, cleanliness and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous food preparation, deli or cold-section experience is advantageous
- Must have a valid South African ID
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-groomed, well-spoken and professional
- Friendly, approachable and confident with customers
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food-handling practices
- Able to follow recipes, portion guides and preparation standards accurately
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Able to multitask and prioritise during busy periods
- Works well as part of a team and is willing to assist where needed
- Maintains a clean, organised and hygienic workstation
- Able to maintain consistent quality and presentation, even under pressure
- Comfortable taking direction and receiving feedback
- Passionate about food and delivering an excellent customer experience
