Baker

About the Role

Kleinsky’s is opening a new store in July and we are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Baker to join the team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about baking, comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and able to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.

You will be responsible for producing a range of baked goods including bagels, babka, and rugelach, as well as assisting with daily kitchen prep and maintaining bakery equipment and workspaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Baking according to daily volume requirements
• Operating and maintaining bakery equipment safely and correctly
• Following recipes, portioning, and production schedules accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
• Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient management
• Working efficiently during busy service and production periods

Requirements

• Previous baking or kitchen production experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Able to work early morning shifts
• Reliable transport to Atlantic Seaboard area
• Able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting bakery stock/equipment
