Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other café offerings. Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for customers. Operate coffee machines and related equipment in accordance with company standards. Maintain product quality, consistency, and presentation standards. Ensure the coffee station and service areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked. Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures. Promote products and contribute to achieving sales targets. Assist with catering events and mobile coffee services when required.### Skills and Competencies

Grade 12 / Matric. Previous experience as a Barista, Café Assistant, or in a customer-facing hospitality role. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso-based beverages. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required. Cash handling and POS experience will be advantageous. Passion for coffee and beverage trends.
