Barista

Position Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be passionate about coffee, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure every guest enjoys a welcoming café experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other drinks.
• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas.
• Replenish stock and assist with inventory management.
• Follow food safety and health regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient daily operations.

Requirements:

• Previous barista or café experience is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
