Barista

This role forms part of the Food & Beverage team at Village n Life, based in Camps Bay, Cape Town.

The Role

We’re looking for a Barista who knows good coffee and understands that great service matters just as much as a great cup.

You’ll prepare and serve quality coffees consistently, keep things moving during busy periods and bring friendly, confident energy to every guest interaction.

If you know your coffee, enjoy working with people and can keep your cool when the orders start flying, we’d like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve consistently high-quality coffees and beverages

Deliver friendly, efficient guest service

Maintain presentation, cleanliness and hygiene standards

Work confidently and efficiently during busy service periods

Ensure equipment and work areas are properly maintained

Support the wider Food & Beverage team when required

What We’re Looking For

Previous Barista experience in a hospitality, restaurant or café environment

Good knowledge of coffee preparation and service

Strong communication and guest service skills

Friendly, energetic and comfortable working with people

Able to work efficiently under pressure

Reliable, punctual and team focused

Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Reliable transport to and from Camps Bay
