A renowned luxury lodge in KwaZulu Natal is seeking a passionate and professional Bartender to join its hospitality team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an individual who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences while delivering exceptional service in a luxury environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and ensuring guests receive attentive and personalized service throughout their stay. Working within a luxury lodge requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

The ideal candidate will have previous bar experience within a hospitality establishment and possess a strong understanding of beverage preparation, stock control, and responsible alcohol service. Attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this role.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a beautiful lodge setting while becoming part of a dedicated hospitality team. Candidates should be well-presented, guest-focused, and willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Job Description

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Provide exceptional guest service at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar area
• Process guest orders accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and replenish bar stock levels
• Assist with stock takes and inventory control
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle guest requests and resolve service-related issues professionally
• Work closely with the food and beverage team to ensure seamless service

Job Requirements

• Previous Bartender experience within hospitality
• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage service
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good cash handling and basic administrative skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Reliable, trustworthy, and guest-focused
