Bartender

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be the face of our bar, responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, serving beverages with a smile, and maintaining an immaculate and welcoming bar area.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixology & Beverage Preparation: Craft classic and signature cocktails, pour beers, pour wines, and mix non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders, make menu recommendations, and provide exceptional, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar station clean, organized, fully stocked, and compliant with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Cash Handling & POS: Accurately process cash and card payments using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Compliance: Verify IDs to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
• Teamwork: Work closely with floor staff, kitchen teams, and management to ensure smooth and efficient service shifts.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in a busy bar, restaurant, or lounge environment.
• Deep knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure during peak hours.
• Flexible availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Please Note: South African citizens and applicants with valid local work authorization will be given first priority.
