Bartender/Waiter/Supervisor

All-Round Team Member / Supervisor – Sports Bar & Burger Restaurant

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused team member to join our busy late-night sports bar and burger restaurant.

This is a hands-on, all-round role where no two shifts are the same. You'll be working as part of a two-person shift, so you'll need to be comfortable and confident working in both the front and back of house. This position is ideal for someone with hospitality experience who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Cook and prepare menu items.
• Serve food promptly and ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in both the dining area and kitchen.
• Work closely with your teammates to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
• Assist with supervising, training, and supporting less experienced team members.
• Help maintain high operational standards and ensure company procedures are followed.

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a bartender, barista or waiter.
• Ready to progress into a supervisory position with increased responsibility.
• An interest in sports—particularly soccer and rugby—would be an advantage.
• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and work across both front-of-house and kitchen duties.
• A dependable team player who can work independently when required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts.

Pay: R32,00 - R35,00 per hour
