Job description
Applicants wanted for:
Skills Program for Basic Welding (accredited by MERSETA)
Training Stages
Stage 1: Screening and Pre-evaluation
Stage 2: Basic Welding
The Course consists of 2 weeks theory, whereafter successful trainees will progress to 5 weeks practical training in:
Mig Welding (Co2)
ARC Welding (Stick)
OXY-FUEL Gas Cutting
Grinding Skills
Handtools
Stage 3: Advanced Training
Stage 4: Practical Experience
- A weekly stipend - to assist with transport
Criteria for Applicants:
Ages : 18 - 27
Grade 12 Certificate (A MUST)
N1 and N2 advantageous
Must have technical aptitude
Must provide contactable reference
Must have Reliable Transport to and from Training
(training will take place in Bellville South and Kraaifontein)
