Basic End User Facilitator

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and engaging Basic End User Computing Facilitator to deliver accredited and non-accredited training programmes to adult learners. The ideal candidate is confident in the classroom, technically competent, and passionate about empowering learners with essential digital skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Basic End User Computing training aligned to curriculum and learning outcomes
• Deliver engaging, learner-centred training sessions (theory and practical)
• Support learners with varying levels of computer literacy
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and training materials
• Conduct formative and summative assessments where required
• Maintain accurate learner attendance, assessment records, and reports
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and SETA requirements (where applicable)
• Deliver training sessions related to new technologies
• Provide learner support and feedback throughout the programme
• Overseeing the facility

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience as a facilitator (essential)
• IT-related qualification or strong IT background
• Proven experience facilitating Basic End User Computing or similar programmes
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage diverse learner groups effectively
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet usage)

Advantageous / Preferred

• Experience with SETA-accredited facilitation
• Assessor and/or Moderator registration with a relevant SETA
• Experience working with TVET colleges, skills programmes, or community-based training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: R15 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
