Job Description: Motus Autoworx, a dynamic leader in the vehicle repair industry is looking, is inviting applications from honest, trustworthy and highly responsible candidates with relevant panel beating experience to apply for the position of Bodyshop Assistant: Panel beater at our Cape Town Airport branch.

Position Overview: The purpose of the position is to repair vehicles to OEM approved standards.

Minimum Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in panel beating within the vehicle repair process.

Minimum Qualification:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
• Computer literacy – basic level sufficient
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, at the required workplace standard

Job Output:

• Execute work as per job card instructions.
• Assist in stripping vehicles and assessing the extent of damage.
• Use hand tools and equipment to shape and form metal panels.
• Sand and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Remove dents and straighten vehicle panels.
• Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Book hand tools and equipment into the storeroom at the end of each day.

Working Conditions

• Workshop-based role with exposure to paint fumes and chemicals (PPE provided).
