Position: Boilermaker

REQUIREMENTS

· Must be a South African citizen.

· Red Seal Boilermaker qualification – compulsory.

· Minimum 5 years relevant experience, with 5–10 years preferred.

· 10+ years' experience will be advantageous.

· Experience in industrial maintenance, fabrication and welding.

· Must be able to work and operate without technical drawings when required.

· Experience with steel structures, machinery, conveyors, chutes, hoppers, frames and general plant equipment.

· Ability to perform welding, cutting, grinding, fabrication and repairs.

· Industrial, manufacturing, recycling or production environment experience advantageous.

· Must reside in or near Kempton Park / East Rand.

· Own reliable transport essential.

· Valid driver's licence advantageous.

· Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.

· Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment.

· Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Fabricate, weld, repair and maintain steel structures and machinery.

· Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance.

· Repair and modify plant equipment, conveyors, hoppers, chutes, guards and frames.

· Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting and general fabrication.

· Identify equipment faults and assist with repairs.

· Work safely around industrial machinery and recycling processes.

· Follow all PPE, hot-work, isolation and Health & Safety procedures.

· Maintain good housekeeping and a safe working environment.

· Assist the maintenance and operations teams as required.

Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
