Boilermaker

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Boilermaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of metal structures, pressure vessels, piping, and related equipment in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair boilers, tanks, chutes, hoppers, ducts, pipes, and structural steel components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble metal components accurately.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on plant equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete job cards and relevant maintenance documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Qualified Boilermaker Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal).
• Minimum 3–5 years' post-trade experience in mining, power generation, petrochemical, heavy engineering, or similar industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Sound knowledge of fabrication, maintenance, and structural repairs.
• Valid medical certificate (or medically fit to work).
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
