Bond Store Supervisor

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Bond Store Supervisor to oversee the efficient and compliant operation of our bond store facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring accurate stock control and documentation, maintaining compliance with customs and company procedures, and leading the operational team to achieve high standards of safety, accuracy and service delivery. Department: Operations

· Ensure documentation check is conducted and vehicle is staged in correct warehouse locations for offloading.

· Communicate to truck drivers and warehouse staff at all times, to ensure plan is actioned correctly and timely.

· Adjust operational plans to improve productivity when required to.

· Receiving tally is submitted to planning clerk for capturing.

· Ensure Cargo is stacked to safe maximum height and designated space is utilized with correct stacking principles.

· Ensure Sufficient space is left between stacks of cargo and all cargo marking are faced in the direction of the driveway for identification during prestaging exercises or verification by stock clerk, supervisors or any independent inspectors appointed by client.

· Matric certification

· 5-10 years’ experience in warehousing, shipping & logistics

· 3-5 years of experience in a bonded facility

· Knowledge of imports & exports including reading and deciphering of customs documentation.

· Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems

· Computer literate.

· Knowledge of Bonded cargo.

· Relevant experience in a similar role or industry

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Pay: R20 000,00 - R26 000,00 per month
