Telemarketer / Appointment Setter

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg (Applicants residing in Johannesburg and surrounding areas only)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a confident, professional and driven Telemarketer / Appointment Setter to join a growing financial advisory practice.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships over the phone and creating business opportunities. Your primary responsibility will be to contact prospective clients, qualify leads and schedule appointments for a Financial Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective clients using company-provided leads.
• Introduce our financial advisory services in a professional and engaging manner.
• Build rapport and create interest with potential clients.
• Qualify prospective clients based on set criteria.
• Book qualified appointments directly into the Financial Advisor's diary.
• Confirm appointments and follow up with clients where necessary.
• Handle objections professionally and confidently.
• Maintain accurate records of all calls and client interactions.
• Update CRM systems and appointment schedules.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly appointment booking targets.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

Minimum RequirementsEducation

• Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
• Currently studying towards a diploma or degree, or already in possession of a tertiary qualification.

Location

• Must reside in Johannesburg, Sandton or surrounding areas.
• Reliable transport is advantageous.

Knowledge & Industry Interest

Applicants should have an understanding of, or strong interest in:

• Insurance Industry

Previous exposure to the financial services industry will be advantageous.

Earnings

Basic Salary + Commission Structure
