Job description

Booking clerk:

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Booking clerk to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating appointments and consultations between prospective clients and our sales team, ensuring a seamless booking process and an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments and meetings for Sales Consultants with prospective and existing clients.
  • Manage and maintain appointment calendars to maximise productivity and minimise scheduling conflicts.
  • Contact prospective clients to arrange, confirm, and reschedule appointments where necessary.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm attendance and provide any relevant information before scheduled appointments.
  • Maintain accurate client records and appointment details within the company's CRM system.
  • Liaise closely with the sales team to ensure effective communication regarding schedules, appointments, and client requirements.
  • Respond to client enquiries professionally via telephone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor appointment attendance and assist with follow-up activities to support sales conversion and client engagement.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales department as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as within a team.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00

This is a full-time, office-based position.

Salary: R5,000 – R8,000 per month, depending on qualifications, relevant experience, and skills.

Pay: R5 000,00 - R8 000,00 per month
