Job description

A well-established company is seeking a motivated, hands-on Branch Manager to take responsibility for the successful management and growth of its Polokwane branch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch.

Drive sales growth and achieve branch turnover targets.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

Lead, supervise and support branch staff.

Manage stock control and branch administration.

Monitor and control branch operating costs and financial performance.

Conduct product, sales and market analysis.

Assist with local marketing initiatives, including social media and physical marketing activities.

Represent the company at shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Conduct ongoing sales and market research within the local area.

Manage branch vehicles, equipment and operational resources.

Ensure the branch operates efficiently and professionally.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous managerial or supervisory experience in a retail environment.

Strong sales background, preferably with established knowledge of the Polokwane market.

Must reside in or near Polokwane and have good knowledge of the local area and customer base.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Computer literate.

Industrial sales experience will be advantageous.

Technically minded with a practical, hands-on approach.

Experience or knowledge of pumps and liquid storage systems will be advantageous.

Physically fit and able to perform the operational requirements of the position.

Valid driver's license is essential.

Bilingual.

Must be of sober habits.

REMUNERATION

Basic salary + commission/bonus structure

Polokwane, Limpopo
