Job description
Job Title: Branch Manager
The purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day branch operations, taking full accountability and responsibility for customer service, financial performance, and staff development. The role ensures the achievement of monthly financial targets through effective planning, leadership, and operational excellence.Key Performance Areas (KPIs)
1. Financial Management
- Strategize, plan, and monitor branch performance to ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Drive revenue growth and ensure alignment with business goals.
2. Customer Service Management
- Establish and implement customer service guidelines and standards.
- Ensure effective service delivery and promote customer retention.
- Manage and resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently.
3. Operations & Office Management
- Ensure effective day-to-day branch and office management.
- Maintain operational efficiency and adherence to company policies.
4. Risk Management & Compliance
- Implement appropriate risk management strategies to mitigate business risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures.
5. Staff Management & Leadership
- Motivate, communicate, coach, and delegate tasks to staff.
- Ensure high levels of productivity and efficient customer service.
6. Performance Management & Training
- Monitor and manage staff performance against targets and KPIs.
- Train and develop employees to achieve business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Certificate Business Management, Retail Management, or related field (advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role (branch, retail, or operations)
- Proven track record of meeting sales and financial targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good understanding of business operations and financial management
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy (MS Office and relevant systems)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From R6 300,00 per month
