Job description

Branch Manager - Cape Town

(Roving Portfolio providing Operational Support)

Sportsmans Warehouse, the biggest sports retailer in Southern Africa, has the following Branch Management position available in Cape Town.

This position requires a dynamic, experienced and highly adaptable Branch Manager to join the W.Cape (Cape Town) Region.

This is a pivotal operational role that may require the Branch Manager to step in across multiple store locations, as and when required operationally in a roving or relief capacity.

The successful applicant will play a critical role in driving customer service excellence, sales performance and staff development (succession).

Minimum Requirements:

· Min. 5 years’ in-store retail (sales) experience

· Min. 3 years’ Store Management experience

· Grade 12 (or equivalent qualification)

· Proven track record in shrinkage- and expense control, budgets and exceptional customer service

· IR experience will be an advantage

· Staff Management (20 - 25 staff)

· Computer literate (Outlook, MS Word/Excel), including strong numeric competency (exposure to PowerBI Reports)

· Strong verbal- and written communication skills, target driven and exceptional leadership skills

· Driver’s License and ability to travel, where required
