Branch Supervisor

Cake Zone requires a capable Branch Supervisor to manage all aspects our new Southgate Mall branch

Applying Candidates:

• Must have at least 3 years experience in supervising, coordinating and managing a retail, take-away or restaurant establishment
• Strong administration capabilities, attention to detail and high level of responsibility
• Excellent MS Office and PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with the Bakery / Confectionery business is a plus
• Good communicator both verbally and written
• Must have valid ID and clear criminal record, driver’s license is a plus
• Matric is a requirement as well as some post Matric qualification on administration and PC Office skills
• Punctual, honest and diligent candidates will be considered only

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage event cake customer orders with our production.
• Verify, reconcile and check orders to ensure zero discrepancies in accuracy and timing
• Manage 2-3 customer service and cashier staff and make sure a high level of customer service is offered to all customers
• Full responsibility to receive and enter into our retail system all products received and returned
• Responsibility and accountability to ensure cashiers record transactions accurately and no stock theft takes place in the branch
• Ensure confectionery stock is merchandised well, stock is rotated well and accurate stock takes are performed on a daily basis
• Cash-up tills and manage change orders

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johannesburg South, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Supervisor in Retail or Restaurant: 2 years (Preferred)
