Brand Manager
Purpose of the Job
Responsible for overseeing and developing strategies to promote and maintain a consistent brand image for Growthpoint. Primary purpose is to enhance brand awareness, drive client engagement, and ensure that the brand's message aligns with its overall business goals.
Key Performance Areas
Brand Management
- Developing, maintaining, and improving our brand, marketing and advertising alongside the Head of Marketing, to create a strong, positive perception of a company, product, or service in the minds of clients and potential clients. Strategic collaboration for consistency – national internal clients
- Ensuring that all communications, visuals, and messaging are consistent across different channels and touchpoints, including advertising, collateral, and websites.
Websites & Digital platforms
- Oversee the development, performance, and optimisation of Growthpoint’s online presence through new website builds, SEO strategies, analysing Google Analytics 4 and paid search campaigns.
PR & social media
- Manage relevant PR and complimentary social media.
- Distribution of press releases and relevant clippings to internal clients
Campaign management
- Managing internal and external marketing campaigns through planning, adjusting, monitoring and report back to the business, while liaising with all agencies (design and digital) in terms of implementation.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Working with the business to ensure that branding initiatives are cohesive and support overall business objectives.
Budget management
- Ensure adherence to the Marketing, GMS and Fund budget with minimal variances, while implementing cost-effective campaigns and monitoring and reporting on achievement of objectives within this budget.
- Manage internal client campaign budgets
Monitoring brand performance
- Tracking key metrics such as brand awareness and market share and adjusting strategies as needed to improve performance.
Marketing Strategy Contribution
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategy for the Growthpoint brand, ensuring positive perception of the brand for the identified target markets through all forms of communication.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years marketing experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Level of Decision Making
Primarily makes decisions related to day-to-day brand management tasks, such as overseeing small-scale campaigns and coordinating with agencies or vendors. They handle specific brand activities under the guidance of the Head of Marketing.

Problems encountered are typically related to operational tasks, such as managing timelines, ensuring creative consistency, and troubleshooting minor issues with campaigns or branding activities.
