The key purpose of this role is to provide specialized electrical artisan skill and knowledge to the shift team, and to support the operations, maintenance of the brewing plant and to perform and assist in problem solving.

Key outputs and responsibilities: Maintain a safe and healthy working environment

• Comply with safe, health and environmental procedures and legislation
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Maintain and repair plant and associated devices
• Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and or systems
• Plan and prepare the job
• Carry out repairs / maintenance
• Operate workshop equipment

Work in Teams

• Communicate effectively in teams
• Contribute to self and team development

Work orders complete

• Backlog
• Satisfied customers – no rework

Key outputs and responsibilities (continued): Health, Safety and Environment

• Identification of unsafe practices
• Electrical Safety inspections conducted
• Safe maintenance practices audited.
• Adherence to PPE policies
• Maintenance tools are in good working order

Minimum requirements: Education

• Minimum N4 Electrical Trade Tested
• Electrical Artisan – Trade Tested

Training

• Minimum 2-3 years on the job training
• Manufacturing Basic Maintenance Training

Experience

• Should have good verbal, sight and hearing abilities in order to be able to do the job as prescribed
• Minimum of 3 -5 years in the FMCG industry.
• Brewing or production experience preferably
