Bricklayer

AAH Construction is seeking a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying, blockwork, plaster preparation, repairs, and related construction duties in line with project specifications, quality standards, and site safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Bricklayer
• Must have a Bricklaying Trade Test Certificate
• Experience in construction, building maintenance, and repair works
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and work instructions
• Knowledge of bricklaying, blockwork, mixing mortar, alignment, levels, and finishing standards
• Ability to work safely and follow site health and safety rules
• Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials according to drawings and specifications
• Prepare and mix mortar and other materials as required
• Measure, align, level, and set out brickwork accurately
• Carry out repairs, patching, and maintenance-related brickwork
• Ensure work is neat, level, and completed to required quality standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow all site safety procedures and instructions from the Site Supervisor or Construction Supervisor
• Assist with other general construction duties when required
