Broker Assistant

A Broker based in Hartbeesfontein is seeking a Broker Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support within the brokerage. The successful candidate will assist with insurance administration, client interactions, policy processes, and general office administration to ensure efficient service delivery and a high standard of client support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support on asset and crop insurance by handling quotations, policy administration, claims processing, renewals, and client communication, while ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
• Maintain and update client databases and support the Broker in delivering timely and compliant insurance services.
• Ensure smooth office operations through professional client interaction, managing appointments, maintaining filing systems, confirming insurance cover, handling correspondence, and supporting general administrative and IT-related tasks.

Qualifications and experience: National Senior Certificate. Regulatory Examination (RE) and Short-Term Insurance qualification will be advantageous. Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.

Skills: Strong administrative and organisational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Client service orientation.
