Job description

Purpose

To provide comprehensive administrative support to the broker channel in a manner that will drive commercial acumen and ensure delivery of service and achievement of key performance deliverables.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • ​Timeous response to the channel’s administrative requests. Collating data that is required by the manager to prepare monthly / quarterly packs.
  • Managing the Manager’s diary and setting up appointments.
  • Management of Channel information and storage.
  • Collate information from all sources of the channel i.e. broker OPS, Broker MIS, Broker Commissions, Billings.
  • Welcome call & Retention teams.
  • Acquire monthly reports of the Manex.
  • Manage distribution of material to eliminate wastage.
  • Check all documentation before submitting for processing.
  • Load request for new facility / broker codes & report to all stakeholders.
  • Track monthly BC panel and Facility penetration stats. Follow prescribed lodgement process & form networks for the channel with Billings dept. and Facilities.
  • Follow up on all rejections and provide feedback.
  • Facilitate weekly lodgements and confirmations.
  • Track and follow up 1st premiums with the facility and Billings Dept.
  • Provision of commission fee statements to Broker managers and Brokers.
  • Know and align to the Commissions Dept.processes and provide support to Channel, Broker manager and BC knowledge of commission systems.

Qualification and Skill Requirements

  • ​Matric.
  • strong MS office skills.
  • industry related qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Must have min. experience of 3 years in the broker division, with an understanding of Broker back office support, broker new business process, exposure to B2B, and working with Govt. and Commercial stop order facilities will be advantageous.
