Job description

About Zibuke Africa

Zibuke Africa is a South African company that builds customised software, AI applications, and software maintenance, and whose flagship methodology is Success Led Selling. We operate across fifteen countries and we measure our success by the success our customers achieve. That is why we stay for six months after every handover, why our payment is spread across five years so value is created before each payment falls due, and why we tie our own reward to the long term results our clients earn. We are built on a culture of accountability, and we only hire people who are willing to live that culture with us.

Why This Role Exists

As our clients produce more with the help of AI and customised software, they must sell more to turn that output into revenue. We are expanding our revenue team to open conversations with companies across our fifteen international markets. This role exists to turn research into relationships, and relationships into signed clients who experience real, measurable success. You are not joining a sales team that pushes products. You are joining a team that makes customer success the strategy, and you will be trained in our Success Led Selling methodology so you can carry that promise into every conversation.

The Markets You Will Sell Into

You will work night hours in South Africa so you can reach prospects during normal business hours in these countries:

- Netherlands

- Sweden

- Norway

- Denmark

- Cyprus

- Finland

- United Kingdom

- Ireland

- Singapore

- Malaysia

- Australia

- New Zealand

- United States

- Canada

You must be genuinely willing to commit to a night working schedule. If you are not willing to work night hours, please do not apply for this role.

What You Will Do

- Research target companies. Identify businesses that meet our Success Assessment criteria across South Africa and our international markets, including their industry, business model, and the product or service they sell.

- Collect decision maker contact details. Gather the email addresses and contact details of the right people at each target company using directories, websites, LinkedIn, and industry databases, while respecting data protection law in every country we operate in.

- Feed the AI outreach engine. Deliver the researched company profiles and email addresses to our AI system, which generates and sends personalised outreach. You own the research quality that makes every message relevant, and you respect the signals prospects send us so we never harass corporate prospects.

- Run the Discovery Consultation. Conduct 45 to 60 minute consultations via Google Teams built around the pivotal Success Question: what success does your product or service enable or unlock for the customer?

- Present implementation proposals. Present the Success Led Selling implementation to qualified prospects and close contracts.

- Capture Trust Vault intelligence. Log every prospect interaction, question, and objection so the evidence base grows stronger with every conversation.

Your Accountability Target

Every Business Developer secures signed contracts with three businesses during their initial period. Leads are provided by Zibuke Africa, pre qualified companies that have already expressed interest, so your focus is converting warm interest into committed clients, not cold prospecting. You own your numbers, you document your outcomes, and you review your results with the revenue leadership team every week.

Compensation

- Base salary: R60,000 per month.

- Commission: 2.5% of each annual paid amount from a client, for the full five year contract term.

- Your income compounds. A single client at a meaningful revenue level can earn you a five figure annual commission for four years, and three clients build a commission portfolio that sits on top of your base salary.

Benefits

- UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) contributions.

- Medical aid contribution towards your medical scheme.

- Pension or provident fund contributions to help secure your long term future.

- Plus the income compounding power of a five year commission annuity on top of your base salary.

What You Need To Bring

- A drive to understand businesses deeply.

- A disciplined approach to research and record keeping.

- Strong written and spoken communication.

- Comfort with Google Teams and digital tools.

- The patience to build trust over years, not transactions.

- Sales experience is valuable. Integrity is essential.

- The willingness to work night hours in South African time to serve our international markets.

Why Our Accountability Assessment Matters

We grew up watching good ideas die because nobody stayed to see if they worked. Accountability is not a value we print on a wall. It is the reason our own payment depends on the long term success of our clients, the reason we measure impact for six months after every handover, and the reason we would rather fix a solution quietly than call it finished before it truly works.

That is why accountability at Zibuke Africa is never an interview. We do not ask you to describe, through scenarios, how accountable you would be. You prove it with action: you sell, you close, and you deliver. Your accountability is demonstrated by the result you produce, nothing else.

If you are not willing to prove your accountability with action, please do not apply for this role.

How The Assessment Works — You Prove It With Action

The accountability assessment is the job itself. After an initial screening call, shortlisted candidates are given real leads and real tools including the pre qualified leads, the Success Led Selling training, and the AI outreach engine and be asked to do the work. There is no fabricated scenario and no trick question. The only test is whether you can convert warm, pre qualified prospects into signed clients.

- You get real leads. Zibuke Africa provides pre qualified companies that have already expressed interest. You are not cold prospecting.

- You get real tools. Full training in Success Led Selling, the AI outreach engine, and the same support team you would work with in the role.

- You do the real work. You research, you run Discovery Consultations on Google Teams, you present implementation proposals, and you close.

- You pass by closing. You have secured signed contracts with **three businesses**. That is the entire test. Three signed clients is the same target every Business Developer carries, and it is the only measure of accountability we recognise.

The assessment can take a week. It can take longer. It will never take longer than three months. You are given a genuine window to do the genuine work, and you are judged only on the genuine result.

If you close three clients, you have proven you are accountable, and the role is yours. If you do not, we tell you honestly and quickly — with no penalty for honesty, and a clear view of exactly what the numbers showed.

Who Should Apply

- Experienced business developers and sales professionals who already understand B2B selling and want to work with pre qualified leads and a methodology that makes customer success the strategy.

- Researchers and relationship builders who want to turn disciplined research into a five year commission portfolio.

- People who are excited by the idea of selling into international markets and are genuinely willing to work night hours to do it.

- People who would rather prove they can sell than talk about selling.

Who Should Not Apply

- Anyone not willing to work night hours in South Africa to serve our international markets.

- Anyone not willing to prove their accountability by closing three signed clients within the assessment window.

- Anyone who expects to be hired on an interview and a promise, without demonstrating the result.

- Anyone looking for a transactional sales role where the goal is to close deals and disappear.

Pay: R60 000,00 - R80 000,00 p
