WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Business Development and Sales Intern will provide support by assisting with market research, commercial analysis, proposal preparation, and administrative activities while developing the knowledge, skills, and experience required for a career in business development.

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS:

• Assist with market research and learn how business opportunities are assessed.
• Assist with the preparations of presentations, proposals, reports, and customer documentation.
• Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) databases and opportunity trackers.
• Assist with collecting and analysing market and sales information.
• Support the preparation of quotations, tenders, and business cases.
• Assist with planning and coordinating customer meetings, exhibitions, and business development events.
• Compile meeting minutes and track follow-up actions.
• Assist with preparing regular status reports on business development activities.
• Maintain accurate filing of commercial documents and correspondence.
• Perform other business development and administrative tasks as assigned by the Business Development Manager.
• Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance with ISO Standards with respect to SHE/ Quality/ Environmental /Energy. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
• NQF Level 6 in Business Management, Economics or any related qualification.
• An interest in international business, economic and political developments.
• Strong commitment to meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to think proactively.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Code 08 Driver’s License.
