Job Context
We are looking for a driven, energetic, and highly motivated Business Development Consultant to join our high-performance sales team.
We are looking for someone obsessed with opening doors, creating opportunities, and winning new business.
The successful candidate must be confident operating in a competitive environment and capable of building a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, cold calling, and strategic client engagement.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 3-5 years external Sales experience in Hygiene & Pest Control industry.
- Proven ability to generate new revenue
- Strong prospecting and closing ability
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- A high achiever in a target driven environment, who will be able to bring in margins within
- specific budgets.
- Must have good planning and organising skills
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- By cold calling and referrals to find new, qualified and interested prospects to talk to about our products/services.
- Set up pre-determined number of appointments with potential customers
- Conduct site surveys to determine potential customers’ needs
- Do quotations and presentations to potential customers of all services within the Office Services division
- Manage and develop a sales pipeline and forecast business weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Input all information onto the CRM system, a daily sales tool and reporting system to manage contacts, opportunities, pipeline and diary
- Ensure all documentation is correct when handing it over to Installations and Finance to process
- Drive the installation until completion
- Sales performance – Ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual sales target are met.
