Job type: Full-time, remote, independent contractor (one-month paid trial, then ongoing rolling contract)

Pay: R22,000 per month base, plus uncapped performance bonuses. If you hit your sales targets you should expect to earn well over R32,000 per month, with no ceiling on what a strong performer can make.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, UK business hours

About One Padel

One Padel is a UK land agency working at the front end of the padel boom. We find land for padel courts - partnering with schools, sports clubs and landowners across the UK to develop padel centres on underused land through long-term leases - and we place those sites with the operators who build and run them.

Around that core we've built two further lines of business: site analysis and feasibility services for padel operators who want to assess their own opportunities, and a software platform that scores and maps padel opportunities across the UK. We're a small, founder-led business with a live pipeline of sites and clients, and we're hiring our first full-time team member to grow all three.

The role

You'll be the engine of our sales effort, working directly with the founder every day. Your time will split across three streams:

1. Sites (the majority of your week)

• Research and identify schools, sports clubs and landowners with suitable land - disused tennis courts, spare hardstanding, unused corners of playing fields
• Find the right contact (bursar, head of operations, club chairman, estates manager) and reach them by phone, email and LinkedIn
• Pitch the padel opportunity clearly and book meetings for the founder
• Follow up persistently and professionally until you get an answer

2. Site analysis services

• Reach out to padel operators, investors and developers who need a site assessed, and introduce our analysis service
• Qualify their needs and set up calls with the founder

3. Software

• Build a list of padel operators, developers and consultants who'd benefit from our opportunity-scoring platform
• Run outreach, book demos and gather feedback from prospects

Across all three you'll keep our pipeline tracker accurate, help prepare short site and prospect summaries, and report weekly on what's moving.

This is a real sales role. Most of your day is outreach - calls, emails, follow-ups - and you'll be judged on meetings booked and deals that progress.

Who we're looking for

• Excellent spoken and written English - you'll be calling UK schools, clubs and business owners and need to sound credible to a bursar, a club chairman or a company director
• Confident on the phone and comfortable with rejection
• A genuine interest in property or real estate - a property studies degree, time at an estate agency or in leasing is a strong plus
• Tech-minded: quick to pick up tools like Google Workspace, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, mapping and planning portals, and comfortable using AI tools to work faster. Some comfort demoing software is a bonus
• Organised and self-managing - you'll be remote with a founder who is often travelling
• Reliable fibre internet, a quiet workspace and your own laptop

Experience in a sales development or business development role is helpful but not essential if you can show us you have the drive and the communication skills.

What we offer

• R18,000-R24,000 per month base, paid monthly and funded from the UK
• Bonuses paid monthly across all three streams: a fixed amount for every qualified meeting or demo booked, a larger bonus for every site that reaches signed heads of terms or every analysis or software contract signed, and a further bonus when a site completes
• Realistic earnings of R32,000+ per month when targets are hit - and a strong month can go well beyond that
• Direct exposure to live UK property deals, how a lease-based sports development business works, and the commercial side of a growing sports-tech product
• A one-month paid trial with clear targets, then an ongoing rolling contract with a review of base pay for the right person
• Flexibility on start time and a founder who trusts you to get on with it
