Job description
Purpose
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth across Sourceworx's cybersecurity portfolio. This includes the promotion and sale of Cybersecurity Operations Centre (SOC) services, Microsoft Security 365 solutions, vulnerability and penetration testing services (VAPT), digital forensics, IT risk management, and security advisory offerings.
This role supports Sourceworx's mission to enhance organisational resilience and security for its clients and aligns with the company's broader sales objectives for the financial year.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management: Expand footprint in existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Build multi-offer proposals and manage executive-level relationships.

Pipeline Ownership: Maintain weighted pipeline coverage 3x quarterly target. Drive late-stage progression and conversion to wins.

Opportunity Leadership: Lead sales pursuits; ensure eligibility packs and compliance. Collaborate internally on strategic opportunities.

Mentorship: Coach Junior BDMs on opportunity creation, meeting discipline, and CRM hygiene.

Governance & Reporting: Enforce in-house CRM standards and report on KPIs
Minimum Qualifications

Matric Certificate required.

Degree in Sales/Marketing or Business Management (preferred).

5+ years' experience in ICT sales with a proven track record in solution selling.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

Strong understanding of ICT sales strategy, including Cybersecurity
