Job description

Business Development Manager — International

We've built relationships with 230+ universities and 100+ student organizations across 20 countries. We're hiring someone to turn that reach into revenue — and keep it growing.

We're hiring at the Associate level to keep the door open to rising talent. More experienced? Tell us — we'll calibrate the role to the right person.

About BlendED

BlendED AI+X GTC (Global Talent Community) opens the door to the world's top tech ecosystem for international students. Through our AI+X Learning Pathways, students take on real AI+X projects, learn from mentors with backgrounds across MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Novartis, NVIDIA, Meta, Apple, and SpaceX, and earn an On-Campus Experience in Kendall Square, Cambridge — one of the densest innovation districts on earth. For a student abroad, that's access most never get: to mentors, networks, and career opportunities inside Boston's innovation scene.

Why this role matters

Our network is real and growing — but reach only matters if it converts. You'll help own the channels that turn universities and student clubs into enrolled students, and build the playbooks that make it repeatable. This is for someone who wants to build growth, not wait for leads.

What you'll do

  • Open and grow relationships with universities, student organizations, and campus partners across English-speaking markets
  • Maintain and deepen the network we already have — turn contacts into active, producing channels
  • Build repeatable activation playbooks: events, partnerships, campus outreach
  • Run discovery calls and program walkthroughs; guide students from first conversation to enrollment
  • Own your pipeline day to day, working directly with our founder and an AI-native sales system

What success looks like

  • In your first few months: you've opened your first channels and run your first activations
  • By 6 months: those channels produce enrollments on a repeatable playbook
  • By 12 months: you own a book of university and student-org relationships that reliably generate revenue

What you'll need

  • You can sell — you win people over, follow through, and can point to results
  • Native-level English and a professional presence with academic and university contacts
  • Self-directed, organized, and comfortable owning outcomes

Bonus points (not required)

  • Experience in international education, EdTech, admissions, study-abroad, or business development
  • An existing network in the higher-ed or student-organization world
  • Recent grad? Real drive and selling instinct count — experience just moves you up the list

What you'll get

  • Real ownership of a growth function, working directly with the founder
  • An AI-native sales stack that makes your ramp weeks, not months
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Remote flexibility, or a hybrid seat in our Kendall Square office if you're local
  • A global, mission-driven community and a front-row seat to Boston's innovation ecosystem

Location

Remote-friendly and open to strong candidates in any English-speaking region, with some overlap with U.S. working hours. Local to Boston/Cambridge? Even better — there's a hybrid seat in our Kendall Square office.

Empowering the next generation of AI+X leaders.
