Business Development Manager / Senior Account Manager(Sales) - Office Automation (Centurion/PTA)

• We are looking for an experienced Corporate Account Manager with a strong background in office automation, managed print, document solutions or related business technology.

This is a senior client-facing sales role focused on managing and growing key corporate accounts, developing new business and selling broader solutions into medium to large organisations.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working with decision-makers across IT, Finance, Procurement and Operations, and should be able to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting and needs analysis through to proposal, negotiation, implementation and ongoing account development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
• Sell across MFP, MPS, managed print, software and related business solutions
• Conduct client meetings, needs analysis and solution presentations
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial recommendations
• Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
• Negotiate and close value-driven deals
• Develop existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling
• Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM activity
• Work closely with internal technical, service and support teams
• Ensure strong client relationships and ongoing account retention
• Meet and exceed agreed sales and GP targets

Minimum requirements

• Strong B2B sales and account-management experience
• Proven experience in office automation, managed print, MFPs, document solutions or a closely related technology environment
• Strong new-business development capability
• Experience managing corporate or major accounts
• Comfortable selling solution-based rather than purely transactional products
• Good commercial understanding of rentals, finance structures, contracts and longer sales cycles
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to engage senior decision-makers
• Target-driven and comfortable working against sales and GP objectives
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Based in, or comfortable working in, the Centurion / Pretoria area

Ideal profile

We are looking for someone commercially mature, relationship-driven and capable of opening doors.

You should be able to manage existing accounts properly while still being comfortable hunting for new business. This is suited to someone who understands long-term account development, solution selling and the discipline required to build a consistent corporate sales pipeline.

Package

Around R45,000 per month, depending on experience, plus commission and relevant benefits.
