Job description
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Verity Talent Partners is looking for someone who understands outbound B2B sales and who is not afraid to make calls.
Our client helps mid-sized facilities management, security and commercial cleaning businesses make better use of their data, reporting and AI, without needing to build a full data team in-house.
Your main focus is to sign up new contracts or upsell existing contracts.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
· Research UK facilities management, security and commercial cleaning companies
· Identify the right decision-makers within target businesses
· Make outbound calls and introduce the company and its services
· Build relationships with potential clients
· Use email and LinkedIn to support your outbound activity
· Run your own sales sequences and follow-ups
· Book and hold initial discovery meetings
· Understand a prospect's business, challenges and requirements
· Qualify potential opportunities
· Keep accurate records and activity updated in the CRM
· Work towards agreed activity and pipeline targets
· Learn how facilities management contracts operate and how data can help businesses improve
· Work closely with the wider sales team as opportunities progress
Your main job will be to open doors and start conversations with potential clients.
This is an outbound sales role, so you will spend your time researching potential companies, contacting decision-makers, having conversations with them and booking initial meetings via Zoom, Teams, etc.
Phone calls will be a big part of the role. Our target customers are busy operators who are often more likely to answer a phone call than respond to an email.
Where this role can take you
ROLE REQUIREMENTS

· Online research
· The ability to manage your own workload without needing supervision
· Curiosity and a willingness to learn a new industry
· Resilience when dealing with rejection and unanswered calls

THE PERSON WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are someone who:
· Is comfortable picking up the phone and starting a conversation with a stranger

· Enjoys researching companies and finding opportunities
· Can organise your own day and manage your own follow-ups
· Takes ownership of your pipeline and CRM
· Wants to understand the why behind what you're selling
