The Digital School of Marketing (DSM) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Business Management Lecturer on a part-time contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Business Management modules.
• Facilitating online lectures and supporting students throughout their academic journey.
• Developing, administering and marking assessments.
• Internally moderating assessments in accordance with institutional policies and quality assurance requirements.
• Providing timely and constructive academic feedback to students.
• Maintaining accurate academic records and meeting institutional deadlines.
• Contributing to academic quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A BCom in Business Management or a closely related discipline.
• Strong academic knowledge and/or relevant industry experience in Business Management.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business Management or a related discipline, with preference given to candidates holding postgraduate qualifications.
• Previous experience within a South African higher education institution.
• Experience with assessment development and internal moderation.
• A sound understanding of South African higher education quality assurance, accreditation and regulatory requirements.
