We are seeking a qualified, goal-driven, and self-motivated Business Manager to join our multidisciplinary team.

Purpose of the Role

The Business Manager provides business and operational management across an allocated area within the region, reports to the Operations Manager, and leads Unit Leaders. The role translates regional strategy and operational priorities into effective unit-level execution, with accountability for financial performance, business growth, resource management, stakeholder relationships, business intelligence reporting, governance, people performance, and consistent implementation of NRC policies, procedures, and initiatives. Through visible leadership, coaching, and performance oversight, the Business Manager supports Unit Leaders in delivering sustainable, compliant, high-quality, patient-centered services. Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree leading to registration as a Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) or Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice) registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Current registration with the applicable professional body.
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management, Healthcare Management, Nursing Management, Clinical, or a related field.

Experience

• Demonstrated management experience in a healthcare, renal, dialysis, or comparable multi-site operational environment.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, resource management, and business performance.
• Experience leading managers and managing performance across multiple operational sites.
• Experience in governance, risk management, compliance and implementation of organisational policies and procedures.
• Strong business intelligence, analytical and reporting capability.
• Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency.

• Strategic and operational management.

• People leadership, coaching, succession planning and performance management.
