Buyer & Stock Controller

We are looking for an experienced Buyer & Stock Controller to join a reputable and well established company based in Brackenfell.

The company operate in the Electronic Security and Building Management Systems Industry, specializing in Access Control, CCTV, Fire Detection Systems, etc.

Key responsibilities:

• Sourcing, purchasing and procurement of stock.
• Stock control, allocation and issuing of stock for projects and clients.
• Stock planning, forecasting and inventory management.
• Monitoring and managing supplier delivery dates (ETAs).
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiating competitive pricing and favourable purchasing terms.
• Managing warranty items and supplier returns.
• Liaising with internal departments, including Sales, Projects and Operations.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring attention to detail.
• Providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Minimum requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant electronic, IT or technical stock management and buying experience is essential.
• Proven experience in technical buying and stock management.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and especially Excel.
• Good technical knowledge and understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver results.
• A positive attitude, honesty, reliability and a willingness to learn.
• Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence.

Pay: R14 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
