BV Auto Electrician

The above-mentioned vacancy exists at Dubigeon Body and Coach (Pty) Ltd. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Related job experience in OEM chassis assembly for bus bodybuilding.
• ± 5 years previous working experience in electrical maintenance of buses and (or) trucks
• Manufacturing assembly of bus or truck production line would be advantageous.

JOB OUTPUTS

• Assisting in wiring or installing new wiring systems.
• Under supervision, diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
• To do repetitive assembly of electricals on bus chassis for bus body building format.
• Perform repetitive testing on automotive components
• Ensure required quality standards are met and maintained
• Assembly of vehicles in accordance with specified OEM works instructions, drawings, build and quality procedures
• Ensure that the stage by stage assembly sign off procedure is complied with during the assembly process.
• Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of measuring equipment and instruments
• Job output not related to specific work centres
• Management will determine based on production to move employee to required areas of the business.
