C# DEVELOPER - Mid Level to Senior (Isando)

A well-established organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector is looking for an experienced Mid-Level to Senior C# Developer to join their IT team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working across both backend and frontend development and wants to contribute to scalable, enterprise-grade business applications.

The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain web applications using C#/.NET, Blazor and SQL Server. The role requires strong technical ability, sound database knowledge and the confidence to take ownership of development projects and production systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4–8+ years’ experience in C#/.NET development.
• Strong practical experience with Blazor Server or Blazor WebAssembly.
• Advanced SQL Server knowledge, including T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing and query optimisation.
• Experience developing ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Basic to intermediate experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience using Git version control.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.

ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE

• Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions or Azure DevOps.
• Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
• Microservices architecture.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Reporting tools such as Power BI or SSRS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using C# and .NET Core or .NET Framework.
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using Blazor Server or Blazor WebAssembly.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database structures in SQL Server.
• Develop and integrate ASP.NET Core Web APIs and third-party RESTful services.
• Troubleshoot, debug and improve application and system performance.
• Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions.
• Maintain high code quality through development best practices, code reviews and unit testing.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.
• Support production systems and resolve technical incidents when required.
• Contribute to the development of scalable, secure and maintainable systems.
