Cafe Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management
• Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Customer Service
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through attentive service and quality products.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints diplomatically.
• Team Leadership
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff to deliver consistent service.
• Schedule shifts and manage payroll in line with budget requirements.
• Motivate and coach team members to achieve performance goals.
• Financial Management
• Manage budgets, sales targets, and cost control measures.
• Implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce waste.
• Brand & Marketing
• Uphold the cafe’s brand image and values.
• Assist in promotions, events, and community engagement to attract new customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality or food service management
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic accounting practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Passion for coffee, food, and customer service.

Pay: From R1,00 per month

Work Location: In person
