The Call Center Agent will be responsible for answering all inbound calls. Log all calls on BPM. Assess claim documents and determine validity. Investigate claim documents and gather information from members, employers and others. Assist with claim-related issues and ensure a resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Call centre agents handle calls, resolve inquiries, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Problem-solving, and technological adeptness.
- Strategies for managing workload and reducing customer wait times.
- Clear, empathetic, and assertive communication to handling customer queries effectively.
- Ability to navigate complex issues and offer practical solutions promptly.
- Excellent communication skills
Experience and Qualifications:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in the employee benefits field.
- Understanding with claims processing system, and strong administrative skills to accurately review claims data.
Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing employee benefits.
- Minimum high school diploma. Courses in insurance (CISR or CEBS)
Skills & Behavioural attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex client needs effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Proficiency in relevant software (MS Office Suite) and tools used in Employee Benefits Consulting.
