Position Overview
Our client is seeking a results-driven Call Centre Agent (Independent Contractor position) to manage outbound calls for their North American portfolio. You will engage with international customers and maintain high professional standards.
Role Description
This is a full-time, (initially) remote position for an outbound Call Centre Agent role based in the City of Cape Town. The Call Centre Agent will handle outbound calls to North American clients. The role involves working with computer-based systems, following scripts and procedures, and escalating complex cases to the appropriate team members when needed. The Call Centre Agent will collaborate closely with colleagues, maintain professional communication standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Matric certificate (Grade 12).
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of call centre collections experience.
- Language: Fluent English with a clear, neutral accent.
- Shifts: Ability to work Monday to Saturday from 14:00 to 22:00.
- Connectivity: Reliable home internet connection, preferably Fibre.
- Tech Skills: PC literate in Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and Zoom.
- Core Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette, active listening, and objection handling, calm under pressure.
- Available from 1 August 2026.
