Job description
Ver-Tex Solutions is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated professional to join our growing team. We are committed to ethical, respectful, and professional debt recovery practices and are seeking someone who shares these values.
Role Overview
In this role, you will assist individuals in managing and resolving their debt responsibly. You will communicate with customers via phone, SMS, WhatsApp, and email, engaging in professional, respectful, and solution-focused discussions. Your primary responsibility will be negotiating realistic repayment arrangements and implementing solutions that help customers regain financial stability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a driven and results-focused individual who demonstrates professionalism and strong negotiation skills. The successful candidate will be:
- Technically Proficient: Comfortable working with collections systems and general computer applications.
- A Skilled Negotiator: Possessing strong communication skills and business understanding to effectively engage with customers.
- Detail-Oriented: Highly organized with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Resilient Under Pressure: Experienced in managing disputes and conflict while consistently maintaining high call quality standards.
- Target-Driven: Motivated to achieve performance targets with excellent time management skills.
- Self-Motivated: Disciplined, proactive, and able to contribute positively to the team environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification.
- At least 1 year of debt collection experience.
- Working knowledge of the Debt Collectors Act and POPIA compliance.
- Debt Council registration will be advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive performance-based remuneration package, including:
- Basic Salary: R5,500 per month
- Guaranteed Monthly Incentives: Up to R6,500 based on performance
- Additional Earnings Opportunities: Monthly commissions, settlement incentives, top performer bonuses
- Additional Benefit: Funeral cover included
