Job description

Confident on the phone and hungry to earn? This one's for you .

Fundwell is a fast-growing US-based platform changing how businesses access capital — making funding faster, simpler and fully transparent. By pairing smart technology with deep financial expertise, we help small and medium-sized businesses unlock growth without the delays of traditional finance.

We're growing our Cape Town sales floor and looking for driven, high-energy Call Centre Sales Agents to speak directly with US business owners, spot funding opportunities, and guide them through the process. It's fast-paced, competitive, target-driven work — the kind of floor where energy and consistency get rewarded fast.

You don't need years of experience. You need to be great on the phone, quick to build rapport, and motivated by real earning potential. We'll teach you the rest.

Requirements

  • Make high-volume outbound calls (150–200+ dials daily) to connect with US business owners
  • Handle objections with confidence and keep control of the conversation
  • Quickly understand a business's needs and position the right funding solution
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline through sharp qualification and follow-up
  • Keep client records and CRM updated in real time
  • Consistently hit and beat daily, weekly and monthly targets

Excellent verbal communication with a clear, confident, neutral English accent

  • High energy, resilience and a genuinely competitive, target-driven streak
  • Comfortable making a high volume of calls and speaking to decision-makers
  • Solid organisational habits and CRM discipline
  • Eligible to work in South Africa
  • Fully committed to on-site work in Cape Town CBD and US-aligned hours (14:00–23:00 or 15:00–00:00)

Architected refreshed job spec leveraging broader criteria and benefits clarity

Pulled the live spec for Business Development Representative – Onsite CPT (Fundwell, job 5775803). Here's a full refresh. The main levers I pulled to lift application volume:

  • Widened the top of the funnel — experience is now framed as "advantageous" rather than required, and I've explicitly invited strong candidates from call centre, telesales, hospitality and retail backgrounds. This is the single biggest driver of more applications (trade-off: slightly more screening for you — easy to tighten back if the quality dips).
  • Led with the hook — uncapped earnings, US market, free mornings and transport now sit near the top, not buried in benefits.
  • Warmer, more human tone plus a "who thrives here" section so self-selectors lean in.
  • Kept every hard fact identical (salary, hours, on-site CPT, transport, Apple kit, medical, Fundwell/US funding), and kept the keyword coverage strong for search.

I can't push this live to Workable from here (there's no edit/publish tool on my side, and publishing changes is your call anyway) — so paste the fields below into a refreshed posting.

Title (pick one — all keep search visibility):

  • Business Development Representative – US Market | Uncapped Commission (Cape Town, On-Site)
  • BDR – US Business Funding | Cape Town CBD (Free Mornings + Uncapped Earnings)
  • Business Development Rep – US Sales | On-Site Cape Town
